Seems your all about $$$ not the educational enlightenment of children, in your world if you have money you can be enriched by music if not too bad. Let it stand alone OUTSIDE of academia where colleagues can band together (no pun intended) to form teaching studios that promote music learning in an entrepreneurial setting. No need to rely on the whims and budgets of a school board. Build an office, charge competitive rates and hire quality staff that assures renewals and long term relationships. I am a firm believer in the "if you build it" had a bit of a time convincing my district to invest in electronic music, but after I told them there is the potential for tripling the number of music students that we serve at NPHS they were all ears! I'm glad you enjoyed the session at FMEA! Joe and I had a blast putting it together, and we were so pleased with the number of people who turned out! All the best to you and please keep in touch!
